CINELDI – Centre for intelligent electricity distribution
CINELDI was a centre for environment-friendly energy research (FME), active from 2016 to 2024. CINELDI worked towards digitalising and modernising the electricity distribution grid to achieve higher efficiency, flexibility, and resilience. CINELDI’s results enable a cost-effective realisation of the future flexible and intelligent electricity distribution grid.
Results from CINELDI’s work can be found on this page. The knowledge generated by CINELDI forms the foundation for further research in SecurEL, a new centre for environment-friendly energy research.
The final conference
Main themes at the final conference were the climate, nature, and electrification; security of supply versus electrification; research and collaboration; CINELDI’s results; and the need for increased hosting capacity of the grid.
