Ph.D. (2010) in Environmental Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), M.Sc., (2001) Eng. (1998), and B.Sc. (1995) in the fields of Maritime & Environmental Science, and Aquaculture.

Competence and research areas

20+ years in R&D projects within the area of Environmental Process Engineering. Experienced in the development of innovative bioprocesses as in the operation and optimization based on process data and chemical analysis.

-H₂/ syngas fermentation to chemicals production.
-Bioelectrochemistry for methanation and the reduction of organics, sulfides and ammonium.
