Lisbeth Alnæs is a senior researcher in Rock- and Soil Mechanics, SINTEF Community. Her master's dealt with quartzite for ferrosilicon production and her doctoral degree studied quality and durability of natural stone, both at NTH, Trondheim. She has worked at SINTEF since 1990 and has 15 years' experience as research manager, the last 7 years for Rock- and Soil mechanics. Main research area is sustainable and efficient extraction and use of georesources from mining and construction activities.
