Maria Vatshaug Ottermo holds a PhD in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU, with emphasis on medical technology and robotics. From 2006 to 2012 she worked as a research scientist at SINTEF ICT. Maria has operational experience from working as a process engineer at Alcoa and she has also worked with safety and reliability at Lloyd's Register Consulting. Since 2019 she has worked in SINTEF Digital, mainly with reliability of safety critical equipment and digital eco systems.
