Laboratory Facilities
ElpowerLab is co-located with the high-voltage laboratories at SINTEF Energy Lab, which consist of a high voltage laboratory, smaller high-voltage test cells, short-circuit and high-current laboratory and facilities for research on subsea components, combustion, and power electronics.
ElpowerLab is also connected to the High Voltage Laboratories at SINTEF/NTNU (Gløshaugen), which consist of two high voltage laboratories, smaller high-voltage test cells, and the National Smart Grid Laboratory. Instrumentation from ElpowerLab can be combined with use at these laboratories upon request.
