We have equipment and software tools for precision motion capture and tracking of robots, objects, people, etc. in indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as tools for localization and mapping within large scale environments. SINTEF is an approved drone operator with active pilots and a range of drone platforms.

  • Capabilities: Motion capture (Qualisys A12), aerial imaging, visual-inertial-lidar localization and mapping. “First-person-view” glasses (Tobii and Aria from FB) with eye tracking for annotation of humans performing task to be robotizised.
  • Applications: Human movement capture, 3D modelling, aerial surveys/tracking, robot localization and autonomy, 3D mapping and inspection.
