Acoustics Research Group

The group conducts research within communication, environmental, industry, and underwater applications in SINTEF. The research group delivers research in fields with significant societal impact, such as combating hearing damage and developing technology to help the hearing-impaired, monitoring and calculation of the environment with respect to noise and noise-related issues, measuring biodiversity based on acoustic methods, and technology for monitoring critical infrastructure.

Measurement project for road traffic noise
