For the first time in more than 20 years, the EAGE Annual is arranged in Norway. The conference gathers more than 6 000 participants.

With the topic "Technology and talent for a secure and sustainable energy future", it is a natural arena for SINTEF as Norway's leading research institute on geoscience (and one of Europe's largest overall).

With the conference being arranged in Norway, SINTEF will have an even stronger presence than usual. In particular, SINTEF's internationally leading role on CCS / CO2 storage and our many activities on those topics will be presented.

In addition you can meet us at a stand (Hall D, stand number 2200) where we hope to meet both research clients, new collaborators and partners, as well as those who look for new job opportunities.

SINTEF will be contributing to the following:

  • Bastien Dupuy co-convener of Workshop 1 - CCS Monitoring “Lessons Learned, Challenges, Opportunities and Strategies” (9 June – 10 June)
  • Benjamin Emmel and Amir Ghaderi co-conveners of Workshop 5 - Large scale CO2 and energy storage studies and their sealing/leakage challenges (14 June)
  • Michael Jordan, Alv-Arne Grimstad, Ane Lothe, Marcin Duda, and Peder Eliasson arranging Field Trip 4: Svelvik CO2 Field Lab with external support from Cathrine Ringstad, Martin Raphaug, and GEOPTICS (10 June)

You can find more information about the event and registration
on the official website.

We also hope you will be joining one of our many oral presentations:
