Countries and regions continue to pledge net zero emissions by 2050. To succeed, deployment of a range of climate mitigation efforts and technologies are necessary. The IEA Report "Net Zero by 2050" report calls for, inter alia, widespread deployment of CCS technologies in several key sectors in order to build a net zero energy system.
In this event, leading scientists and high-level experts will shed light on the magnitude of efforts needed and how CCS technologies can not only reduce emissions, but to remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Ways to build solid business cases and transferring CCS technology to developing countries will also be presented.
