MARINTEK played a key role, as one of the founders and sponsors. Two of the key note speakers were from MARINTEK (researcher Bente Kvamstad and research director Per Magne Einang), and the moderator was Erik Dyrkoren. A new Ocean Technology Summit will take place at Nor-Shipping 2015, and we will participate actively also in that conference.
Ocean Technology Summit – a great success
The 1st Ocean Technology Summit took place June 4th 2013, during Nor-Shipping 2013. The conference proved to be a huge success, both in terms of the chosen topics (green shipping and arctic challenges) and the number of participants.
