Thomas Langø is a recognized senior scientist with a large national and international network in ultrasound and image guided surgery. He is project manager of 3D ultrasound in laparoscopic surgery, at the National Competence Centre of Ultrasound and Image-Guided Therapy at St. Olav's Hospital.
Thomas is also a business developer for international / EU, within medical technology and innovation in health care.

Thomas Langø takes over as Research Director for the Department of Medical Technology after Toril N. Hernes, who goes to NTNU as head of the Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging at the Medical Faculty.
