This is how SINTEF works with the Transparency Act
Act on business transparency and work with basic human rights and decent working conditions (the Transparency Act) came into force on 1 July 2021.
SINTEF works to identify and assess possible negative impacts on basic human rights and employee rights in the group's supply chain.
Our suppliers must answer a supplier evaluation and we carry out a background check to be able to uncover possible negative influences. If a negative impact is discovered, we start a dialogue with the supplier to rectify and determine measures that are proportionate in relation to the significance and extent of the negative impact.
