• Exploiting experience from the SINTEF PTPE project 2006 - 2012
• Exploiting experience from basic material research, methodologies etc. from previous SINTEF research
• Especially addressing fast repetitive field-stresses and space charge accumulation in small insulation gaps with representative geometries.
• Studies on performance of material, components and power-circuit test objects, including experiments on live PTPE power circuits
• Strengthen the theoretical basis for characterizing complex material phenomena
• Using component manufacturers as mentors for securing relevance for PTPE products
• Using industry partners as mentors for test and qualification methods
