CEMCAP

SP2 is responsible for the elaboration of a framework for the research to be conducted in SP3 and SP4, based on the existing framework from the European Benchmarking Task Force (EBTF) in combination with a reference cement plant previously defined by ECRA. A comparative techno-economic analysis is undertaken in WP4 of all CEMCAP capture technologies, and compared with a reference case using MEA. To provide the perspectives necessary to the cement industry beyond the capture of CO₂, WP5 puts a context around how cement plants with CO₂ capture will have to operate by describing the options for post capture CO₂ management.
