In WP2 the various sub-processes, and various alternatives thereof, forming the aggregate hydrogen production and liquefaction facility will be modelled and simulated on a systems level. Such processes include hydrogen production from natural gas reforming, electrolysis, CO₂ capture and cryogenic processes for hydrogen liquefaction.
The interaction between the sub-processes will be analysed and evaluated from a static, off-design and dynamic perspective, and the optimal integration will be sought in order to optimise the process with respect to efficiency and cost criteria.
