The smart electricity meters in Norway can be configured to meter voltage as well as power consumption. Earlier, the grid operators had no measurements of voltage in the low voltage distribution grid, hence this gives the network operators an opportunity to analyse and monitor the voltage quality more accurately than before. The exact formulation of this demonstrator is yet to be decided in the project.
