ACES - Accelerating Energy- and Sustainability Transitions in Ports

The port sector can play a crucial role in the transition to a zero-emission society, partly because it brings together various stakeholders and domains in the energy and transportation system.

Contact person

ACES aims to facilitate and accelerate cross-sectoral energy and sustainability transition in Norwegian ports. The project intends to achieve this by:

  1. Elevating the importance of energy transition around ports on the national policy agenda by facilitating the development of visions and strategies.
  2. Strengthening the transition capacity in individual ports through collaborative creation of transition agendas, visions, and role development.
  3. Promoting exchange and coordination between national and port-specific transition efforts.
