How can social AI be used to help youth (16-20 years) with coping and quality of life?

  • How do young people use and perceive social AI?
  • How can risks such as privacy and misinformation be managed?
  • How can digital support services be improved using social AI (concrete recommendations)?

These research questions will be investigated with extensive user participation from young people themselves and professionals who work with young people in the question-and-answer service of ung.no. In surveys, we will map user trends and experiences with social AI among young people, and how social AI (such as ChatGPT) is perceived as a helper and adviser compared to professionals.
