SINTEF and NTNU welcomed Asian delegation
On the 18th of June, we had the pleasure of welcoming an enthusiastic and eager delegation from Central and West Asia to us at SINTEF in Oslo.
The near 30 delegates came from various governmental energy institutions in amongst other countries China, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia and Pakistan. They were part of the Asian Development Banks CAREC programme and visited Norway and Denmark to explore renewable energy adoption.
Anneli Alatalo Paulsen introduced SINTEF and the global initiative, while Michael Martin Belsnes and Stein-Erik Fleten (NTNU) went into details on the Nordic electricity market and grid.
Many of them expressed strong interest in working with SINTEF in their own region - we will keep in touch and explore possibilities for collaboration!
