Abstract
This report is a review of available literature relevant to emissions from post-combustion CO2 capture plants. A substantial amount of work has been done on this topic in the last few years, particularly in projects associated with Technology Centre Mongstad and CO2 Capture Mongstad. The report covers plant emissions, atmospheric chemistry, environmental fate and effects and exposure limits of relevant compounds. Among the topics were there are still knowledge gaps regarding the environmental fate and effect of nitramines. The TCM baseline surveys reported surprisingly high levels of amines in the environment.
