SINTEF is a Norwegian cross-disciplinary contract research institute that aims at bridging the gap between academia and industry. OR activities are found in many organizational units. In this talk, I will present examples of OR activities in the Group of Optimization, Department
of Applied Mathematics. Examples include logistics simulation and optimization in railway and bus transportation, air traffic management, vehicle routing, and healthcare.
