Abstract
The manufacturing industry is an important part of safe and sustainable growth in Europe. Sustainable and flexible tools in the energy sector can bring benefits for quality assurance of the produced goods. This paper takes a closer look at combining such concepts as digital twins and demand response to optimize the use of renewable energy resources that will be a game changer for any industry in the future. Conceptual models connected with each other in an aggregator platform will assist various manufacturing processes to adapt to the energy market through increased use of renewable energy resources at the lowest possible cost.
