Abstract
The paper reports on the results and emerging policy messages to arise from ENARD, the IEA Implementing Agreement on Electricity Networks Analysis, Research and Development, through to early 2011, some 4½ years into its initial 5 year Term. During the 4½ years to date ENARD has delivered on all its key objectives, its membership has grown from 8 to 14 countries, three new Annexes have been
established and the essential role of the Agreement has been recognised, in relation to the provision of timely, authoritative and unbiased information and advice to governments and regulatory bodies.
