The transformation of the fossil-based energy sector with large greenhouse gas emission to clean energy is one of the greater global challenges.
Our research areas include development, testing and use of advanced materials and components in sustainable energy technology. Our competence areas encompass chemistry/electrochemistry, physics, advanced materials, optimization and sustainability analysis. We develop and facilitate implementation of digital tools, technology and integrated systems for industrial, transport and energy applications to reduce our carbon footprint. We operate a workshop that produces bespoke research equipment.
