SINTEF has expertise along the entire value chain from manufacturing to product for most industrial metals and metal alloys.

Together with our customers and partners, we develop production processes and manufacturing methods (casting, metal forming and joining) as well as methods for describing and understanding the metals microstructure and properties in solid as well as liquid phase. By using our laboratory infrastructure we perform characterization in multiscale, from nano to macro scale.
