Zainab Waris, Önder Tekinalp and Tor Olav Sunde attended the 11th Workshop on Lithium-Sulfur Batteries, arranged by Fraunhofer IWS in Dresden, November 2024. This was a great conference with many presentations from leading academics and many of the most important industrial players in the field. We represented the 3S project with a poster entitled: “Potential of bimetallic MOFs for enhancing Li-S battery performance".
Dr. Tor Olav Sunde gave a presentation entitled: “Developing advanced separators with tailored properties for lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries” at the NordBatt 2024 conference in Oslo, Norway, in September 2024.
SINTEF Oslo had a visit of master student, Emma-Lise Belayche, from France for 4 months. Her Internship report with the title: Electrospun nanofiber membranes for selective separators in Li-S batteries” was submitted to ECPM, (École européene d’ingénieurs de chimie, polymers et matériaux) at Université de Strasbourg. It was also defended with a presentation and following questions on 6th September 2024.
Professor Liyuan Deng gave a presentation entitled: From Nanostructured Membranes to Separator and Cathode Materials for Long Life Lithium-Sulfur (Li-S) Batteries, at the MoZEES Battery Days at Lillestrøm, Norway, in May 2024.
