ALGAENERGY is a reference technology-based company specialising in the field of microalgae biotechnology which, with substantial R&D programmes is managed by a team of entrepreneurs and scientists with solid financial backing and extensive experience within this field. Professor Miguel Garcia Guerrero is the chief scientific advisor and Board Member of the Company.  He is Professor of Plant Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Seville, and one of the few specialists working on the biotechnology of photosynthetic microorganisms in the world. • Continue with the developments for the reduction of production costs in the BIOENERGY SECTOR.
• Continue with the developments of novel products derived from microalgae and positioning them into the market: agriculture, human nutrition, animal nutrition, cosmetics and biomaterials.
• Make state-of-the-art microalgae technology and novel products available to the Consortium.
