Evaluation of the water treatment and distribution systems existing in the S-E part of Romania and selection of two Romanian companies which have, at regional level, monopoly on potable water production and distribution
Design an optimized plan for improved sampling and monitoring of the water quality from producer to consumers (network extremities included)
Implementation of the optimized monitoring program – performing of the water sampling and analysis campaigns, during 12 calendar months (October 2009 – September 2010)
Training of the personnel from the 2 selected Company in order to implement the optimized and adequate monitoring program and to improve their knowledge regarding drinking water control
Overall assessment of the obtained results and identification of causes leading to degradation of water quality
Elaboration of measures plan for improvement of the existent analytical control scheme
Solutions for optimization /modernization of actual potabilization flow and to increase of operating flexibility and safety exploitation
