The Research Institutes's Sporting Club - FBI

On these pages you will find information about the sporting club of the research institutes in Oslo. You are most welcome to give comments and inputs to improve the information.

FBI has got several activities for the member institutes. We support groupes like foot ball, hand ball, orienteering, tennis, golf, bowling, mountain climbing, and individual activities like ski, running, cycling, etc. Please see the "Idrettsgrupper" (Sporting groups).

All employees at the Oslo divissions of member institutes are members of FBI.

Financing of FBI

The member institues contribute with an amount per employee, presently 250kr. However, this is not sufficient to cover our expences and each partisipant contributes with a small amount.

Why FBI?

By organising a unified sporting club the number of members is sufficient to participate in several activities and at different levels. In addition to the sports activities, the FBI contributes to valuable social contacts between the institutes.
