The optimization of LMD process supported by material testing and microstructure characterization were performed by Nordic Additive Manufacturing and SINTEF for 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel. The LMD process parameters target producing material with the required properties according to the requirements on the water jet impeller and standard requirements. A scientific papers summarizing the optimization process was submitted and presented at the 25th International Conference on Material Forming (2022) by Siri Marthe Arbo (SINTEF).
