GeoScale - Direct Reservoir Simulation on Geocellular Models

Projects
Through the GeoScale portfolio of research projects, SINTEF ICT has established a strong research group that performs world-leading research on (multiscale) reservoir simulation and collaborates closely with a large number of researchers, both nationally and abroad. The `GeoScale technology' is currently used in both academic and industrial projects at SINTEF. Moreover, simulators developed at SINTEF are currently used by researchers at collaborating universities.

The GeoScale porfolio consists of a series of long-term and strategic research projects funded in part by the Research Council of Norway and in part by oil and service companies.
