Core store facilities


The core boxes are stored on pallets for easy access.


Demonstration slabs of all cores are directly accessible in a separate description room.

Equipment for description and sampling is available. It includes binocular microscopes, a rock saw, a rock drill (1"), plastic bags, photo equipment etc.


Two guest offices allow concentrated work.
 

Microscopes, overhead and slide projector are available for studies and  demonstrations.
Reports and  background data are easily accessible.
Previously prepared specimens (palynological slides and thin sections) can be used by special appointment.
