Abstract Submission Guidelines
There are two types of abstracts:
1. Abstracts for Free Standing Papers, for Posters and for Individual Presentations as part of a Symposium
- Prepared by: Presenting Author
- Maximum length: 500 words
- See Abstract Format Number 1
2. Summary Abstract for a Symposium
- Prepared by: Symposium Convener
- Purpose: To provide an overview of the Symposium and its Presenters
- Maximum length: 500 words
- See Abstract Format Number 2
The Convener of each Symposium is responsible for submitting abstracts for each individual presenter (use Abstract Format No. 1). The complete set of abstracts, including summary abstract must reach the Conference Secretariat by November 15, 2019. Individual symposium presenters should NOT send their abstracts directly to the Secretariat. Abstracts are not required for Discussants.
Publication of Abstracts
Abstracts will be published as a special issue of Gerontechnology, the official journal of the International Society for Gerontechnology. In order to be eligible for publication, your abstract must be prepared as set out in the guidelines and template. Incomplete or incorrectly submitted abstracts will be returned to the author and must be resubmitted correctly by the deadline to be considered for presentation at the conference.
The presenting author must register and pay the registration fee for participating at the conference.
