The final verification will take place during a large-scale field experiment in 2009. The experiments will be carried out as a cooperation between a number of scientists and organisations (US, Norway, Russia and others). At present we are planning field trials in the Barents Sea east of Svalbard in May 2008 (smaller test experiment) and April 2009 (full-scale). Contact: or Published September 7, 2006
