R&D Partners
The "Joint Industry Program on oil in ice" is funded by the oil companies Shell, Chevron, Statoil, Total, ConocoPhillip and AGIP KCO.

The central R&D partners are SINTEF (Norway), SL Ross (Canada) and Dickins Associates (USA).  As part of the preparatory work we have invited and included a number of cooperating organisations and other parties with experience and activities within oil spill R&D and oil spill countermeasures. The cooperating organisations supports the program with various forms of in kind support. (technology, data, vessels, experience, arrangement of work shops, participation in reference- and working groups and similar).
