MEGASTACK - Stack design for a Megawatt scale PEM electrolyser
Four European partners are joining forces to develop a cost efficient stack design for MW sized PEM electrolysers and to construct and demonstrate a prototype of this stack.
The three year, €3.9 million MEGASTACK project is supported by The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH-JU) through a €2.1 million grant and will involve 208 person months of total work effort. The MEGASTACK consortium, coordinated by SINTEF, consists of leading R&D organizations and major industry actors from 4 member states: ITM Power (Trading) Ltd (UK), Fraunhofer ISE (DE), Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (FR) and SINTEF (NO).
This project has received funding's from the European Union's Seventh Framework Program, Fuel cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 621233
