Microfeatured polymer components (mpc) was a research project lead by SINTEF Materials and Chemistry and partners. The project addressed challenges regarding the use of polymer materials in high-precision mass-produced components.
The focus was on components with the largest outer dimension in the centimeter range, but with surface features (channels, gratings etc) in the micrometer range.
The project was funded by the Research Council of Norway as a "Strategic Institute Programme" (SIP).
