To support the development of applications and services, a toolchain has been developed and evaluated. The toolchain is a set of development tools (e.g. UML modeling tool and Java IDE). It has full support for the Object Management Group’s Model Driven Architecture ® for developing software services. The focus of the toolchain is to use affordable and free components.
