MFA data provided from WP2 will be presented to the partners and a wider stakeholder group, who will prioritise 5-10 plastic streams for further characterisation selected on the basis of market and value chain considerations such as stream volume, economic value, threat to the environment and potential for circularity. Each selected stream will be characterised and categorised by assessing properties such as polymer type(s), additive chemical profile, level of contamination, and whether it contains composites, i.e. fillers such as glass fibres. Data related to these properties will be gathered from available product information, material technical data sheets, and scientific literature.
