Objective:
Collect sea trial data for manoeuvring tests and compare these to outcomes from numerical simulation models. Use sea trial data to improve simulation models.

Short WP description:
Perform different model test (captive and/or free-sailing) to collect data needed for development of numerical simulation models for selected case vessels. Run sea trials with the case vessels to investigate manoeuvring performance. In addition to IMO Standard Manoeuvres vessel specific low speed tests will be used. The actual low speed tests will be case vessel specific and developed through collaboration between ship masters, pilots and scientific personnel from the project's research partners.
