Biography

Sverre Overå is project director for the Northern Lights project. He has worked at Equinor since 1984, originally in processes but for the last 20+ years as a leader for development projects in Norway and Brazil. He was project manager for the construction of the Technology Center for CO₂ capture at Mongstad (TCM). From 2016 to 2021, he led the Northern Lights project on behalf of the partnership Equinor, Shell and Total. He now leads the project in Equinor on behalf of the newly started company Northern Lights JV DA.
