This presentation describes the first Android prototype of City Explorer developed by a student group at NTNU. The City Explorer is an attempt to fill a gap in the market for mobile tourist guides. tourist offices, City Explorer also enables regular tourists to contribute. The main objective is to help potential users in exploration of new cities by giving them a pool of existing points of interest and tours, as well as allowing users to create their own points of interest and tours.
