The 17^th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium – Sardinia 2019, organized by the IWWG - International Waste Working Group, was held in Forte Village, Santa Margherita di Pula (Cagliari) Italy, from September 30th to October 4th, 2019. WASTE2ROAD, which focuses on production of biofuels from waste materials, has been presented at the conference by Claude Mirodatos from CNRS. Evaluation of feedstock supply, logistics, management and risks related to waste handling and pre-treatment for production of advanced biofuels plays an important part of WASTE2ROAD.
