Wolfgang Vollnhofer from OMV Downstream has presented the WASTE2ROAD project, its concept, the main findings and the challenges related to liquefaction of waste fractions at the Go Net-Zero Carbon Energy summit, a 2-day virtual event held on 26-27 January 2021. The figure below illustrates possible integration of bio-liquids in existing refinery processes.
