The Pyrolysis and Liquefaction of Biomass and Wastes Conference (Pyroliq 2019) took place in Cork, Ireland on June 16-20, 2019, providing a forum for discussion of the advances in the pyrolysis and liquefaction of biomass, organic residues and wastes to intermediate products like bio-oil, biochar, biogas and torrefied materials, including slow, intermediate and fast pyrolysis, hydropyrolysis, solvent liquefaction and hydrothermal processing. WASTE2ROAD, represented by Marine Peyrot from CEA, was introduced at the conference as a poster.
