Sammendrag
An introduction to the findings of the LivingAll project in the area Housing and the Built Environment. The paper attempts to give some explanations of why most users still find that the builit environemt is largely inaccessible to people with disabilities - despite the fact that there has been, and still is considerable activity on all adminstratibe levels with regard to improving acdcessibility and usability issues whether in housing, workplaces, public buildings and outdoor space.
