Symposium in Kolkata, 4-5 Dec 2019
The Third Symposium: Sustainable technologies for food processing and preservation was conducted at Amity University, Kolkata, India in December 2019. The day was filled with many good presentations and discussions. A summary of the presentations and posters from the day is available in the abstract book. On the 5th we also went on interesting industry visits.

Workshop in Mumbai, 28-29 Nov 2018
On the 29th of November the Indo-Norwegian projects ReValue and Re-FOOD arranged a annual symposium in Mumbai to foster new relations and opportunities. The annual symposium was used to disseminate research, innovation and education by the projects as well as an opportunity to create ned contacts and ideas and to strengthen the cooperation on bio-economy between Norway and India. Symposium Feb 2018
The book of abstracts from the first annual RE-food symposium held in Goa in February 2018 if finished! The book has a total of 73 pages and includes all abstracts and summaries from the different sessions, as well as an overview off all posters and pictures from the different activities. The book is available from here, and is also available under publications (in the right margin).

About the project
ReFOOD will focus on research, innovation and education in analytical and processing techniques for improved utilization of biomass, energy efficient and quality preserving processing techniques, optimal supply chain strategies including cold chain management and climate friendly refrigeration techniques.
