Abstract
The second part of the launch focuses on explaining how you can create your own technology descriptions and incorporate these within EnergyModelsX:
- Introduction of new technologies or transmission modes with differing constraints,
- Extending on the initial built model through calling the function,
- Creating a new EnergyModel type, and
- Use of the wild-card data type.
The webinar will show how a potential developer can utilize the individual options to extend EMX with different options for a more realistic description of the energy system. In addition, it will highlight the increased flexibility that can be achieved through the design of EMX.
