Parametric modeling and rock stress data integration for enhanced rock mechanics applications

Abstract

Understanding rock behavior is critical for safe and efficient design and construction of underground structures. Rock mechanics plays a pivotal role in this process, and advancements in modeling techniques are continuously sought to improve accuracy and efficiency. This study explores the integration of parametric modeling with rock stress databases to achieve better accuracy and diminish model creation and meshing times.
